Honestly, I’ve never seen experienced anything like it so I am compelled to tell my story…

I started in this business in 2015. To say that I had a rough go of it is an understatement. Three years in and I was barely keeping my head above water. I remember going to the summer regional June 2018 and crying in my hotel room because I just barely met the minimum requirement not to be put onto the Performance Improvement Plan. I had brought in just $5.1MM in assets the year before. I remember asking a successful colleague that I looked up to if he thought it was possible for me to bring in $10MM in the next six months. His reply, “Good Luck!” I was at the lowest low, beginning to doubt my choice to give up a comfortable salary to change careers by becoming a financial advisor. My wife had to go back to work to help us pay the bills.

It was October 2018 when I was asked to attend yet another training session. I told my colleague that I had been to so many of these programs and nothing seemed to help. I figured it would be a waste of time – time I could be spent trying to bring in assets. Being someone who had worked with Getting Results, he strongly encouraged me to attend; his persistence paid off. I attended reluctantly – very reluctantly. I didn’t even bring a notebook to take notes.

To my surprise, I filled up one of those little hotel notepads they give you at these events! That little ‘notebook’ goes EVERYWHERE with me today. It is my ‘business bible’! Little did I know just how the three-hour seminar that day could change my world…

I happened to be traveling on vacation with my family the following week. Though I should have been vacationing, all I could think about what that workshop. I wanted to get back to the office so I could start implementing the lessons. I spent time putting ideas on paper what I would do when I got back to the office based on the lessons Getting Results shared with me that day.

I had no idea what was about to unfold for me…

Within two months, I brought in a million dollars for the first time ever! I brought in another $4MM over the following few months.

I now had a newfound level of confidence that I can actually make it in this business. In 2019, I had an aggressive goal to bring in $16MM in assets (remember, I’m three years in the business and had never brought in more than $5MM in a year). I hit my goal that year. It was 4 times more than I had ever brought in before! I started January 2019 as a Level 2 producer and ended the year as a Level 5!


To say my life is completely different is an understatement. I have earned my third div trip (never had earned one before), My revenue is way up and I am engaged in my favorite activity, target shooting, on a regular basis.
